Title in English: Anglo-American Reception of Ingarden's Concept of the Literary Work
The publication analyzes the rather sporadically occurring critical reception of Ingarden’s concept of the literary work of art within the Anglo-American aestehetics and philosophy. The aim is to present Ingarden’s ontological and epistemological theory of the literary work of art as interpreted in a mainly analytically thinking environment emerging Anglo-Saxon philosophical traditions heritage. Finally, this thesis tries to “argumentizate” the topic, namely to transpose some basic concepts and ideas of Ingarden’s theory into a concept framework of analytic aesthetics.
