Title in English: Basics of Roman Law
The publication is intended to serve as main teaching aid for students of the subject of Roman law, especially in the bachelor's program, but it can also be used in the master's program to create a basic overview of the form and systematics of Roman private law. The publication covers all areas of Roman law, from personal rights (entities, family law,...), through absolute rights (property, property rights to another's property) to the law of obligation and inheritance. The development of state law, procedural law and the sources of Roman law are also briefly presented, as well as the reception and its meaning. The text is complemented by clear charts that facilitate orientation in the concepts and system of Roman law.
