Title in English: First teacher. On the role of the headteacher in educational leadership
Leaders have a very significant impact on life in any organization or institution. It is no different in schools. In our environment, the reflection of headteacher’s work is often not at the center of professional publication’s attention. The book partially corrects this by looking at the phenomenon of educational leadership from the point of view of the headteachers. The core is the results of the author’s empirical research. Based on real data, it is demonstrated how principals can contribute to improving student’s educational outcomes, how their work affects teacher satisfaction, shows the patterns of their professional careers. From this point of view, the book offers stimuli both for further educational research and those interested in the ranks of principals and teachers who want to further develop their work at school.
