Title in English: Determiners of Teaching Practice Effectiveness
The monograph addresses several determining factors concerning the effectiveness of student teacher practicum. The chapters draw mainly on research performed by doctoral students. They discuss the formation of student tacit knowledge during teaching practice, sharing it knowledge with the mentor, student reflection during practicum and the tacit dimension of the teacher’s assessment of pupils. The book also contains chapters that present other serious problems with the effectiveness of teaching practice: student awareness of the benefit of teaching practice, support of student reflection by their educators, autonomous and heteronomous assessment as a determiner of teaching practice effectiveness and authority and gender in the interaction of student teachers with pupils during practicum.
