Title in English: Czech Language in Motion 2. Theoretical and Communication Aspects of Proper Nouns
This publication, created by a team of linguists from the Department of Czech Language and Literature, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno, freely follows the monograph Čeština v pohybu (Czech Language in Motion), published in 2015. This time, the monograph presents results of a research of proper names taken from several points of view that follow changes of the proper names in communication: the function of naming motifs in connection with the variability of one type of anoikonyms, grammatical behavior of anoikonoyms in contemporary texts and function of choice of anthroponyms in dramatic texts. The authors thus attempt at a comprehensive concept of the monograph presenting both the knowledge of linguistic research and the literary-onomastic approach.
