Dny práva 2017
Title in English: Days of Law 2017
EU regulation of Private International Law is not a static set of rules but it is evolving all the time. In addition to the adoption of new regulations, it is the case law of the Court of Justice that contributes to its development. Recently, new regulations on property relations between spouses and registered partners have been adopted; the Small Claims Regulation has been amended. European Private International Law is also influenced by the new and widely discussed Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. This section will therefore focus on current issues in European Private International Law. We welcome papers dealing with the analysis of new regulations and with the existing problem that have not yet been satisfactorily resolved. Papers can also analyse the current case law of the Court of Justice and of the national courts concerning the rules of European Private International Law.
