Title in English: Environmental Aspects of Agricultural Entrepreneurship in the Context of Rules on Cross-compliance
The book discusses the legal requirements which are placed on entrepreneurship in conventional agriculture regarding the protection of the environment. First of all, the book outlines the general aspects of entrepreneurship in agriculture in the context of current Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union. Subsequently, the book presents selected rules on cross-compliance, which are relevant to the plant production sector of agriculture. Within the introduction of the selected rules on cross-complience in question, the book briefly evaluates selected Standards for good agricultural and environmental conditions of land and Statutory management requirements regarding their potentiality to contribute to the environment protection and also regarding their overlapping with the generally binding provisions witch must be obeyed by the entrepreneurs in agriculture in the Czech Republic because they are contained in law, especially on soil, water and nature protection.
