Francouzsko-české vztahy v oblasti překladu (1945–1953)
The work deals with the reception of literature written in French in Czechoslovakia from 1945 to 1953 focused on the period of communist publishing policy (1948–1953). Against the background of political changes both abroad and within the country as well as system changes of the Czech (Czechoslovak) publishing policy in the postwar era, it analyses tolerable tendencies in Czech translations from French (chapters Realist-Progressive Tradition and Current Progressive Subject Matter) and literary phenomena excluded from Czech translation (chapter Ideologically Undesirable Literature).
