Title in English: Information journalism. Newsrooms – reporters – genres
The publication Information Journalism is devoted to practical journalism in online and printed media, especially information journalism, understood as broader reporting. The author bases his work on current trends – the basic source is expert interviews with journalists from major Czech and Slovak online and printed media. The aim is to describe the organization of the work of newsrooms, reporters and editors, point out possible pitfalls of this activity and introduce some genres used in today's media. The publication can be useful not only for novice journalists and journalism students, but it can also be considered a small contribution to media education and the fight against fake news, especially unintentional ones caused by unprofessionalism and ignorance that result from poor-quality journalistic work.
