This publication discusses the relationship of EU law and arbitration, especially the way the European consumer protection rules affect national provisions on the possibility of cancellation of the award. In this regard, analyzed the relevant Czech legislation, because arbitration and EU law are based on completely different starting points. European law is a set of laws that govern the organizational structure of the European Union and regulate the individual's own activities of the Union.
