Title in English: South Slavonic Phraseology in Contrastive Aspect
The aim of the book is to explore the similarities and differences in certain aspects of phraseology in mainly South Slavonic and West Slavonic languages, but in some of the chapters Russian (genetic linguistic reasons) and Hungarian (cultural-historical reasons) phrasemes are included in the comparison. The publication has unconventional intention to compare certain linguistic phenomena in the context of the synchronous studies of the so-called „small“ languages and it contributes to a better understanding not only of language but also of literary, cultural, historical, ethnographic, and other links of the South Slavonic nations with Central Europe.
