Title in English: Early Speech Therapy Intervention in the Czech Republic
Early speech therapy intervention plays the key role in speech therapy, but comparing the situation in the Czech Republic with foreign countries, the support is not provided as is demanded. In this text is described early speech therapy intervention in the Czech Republic with emphasis on early diagnostics of deficits of speech development. Presented are two groups of children in risk of speech development – children with identified risk and children potentially in risk. The text presents current views on diagnostics and therapy of children with deficits in speech development in the age from 0–36 months.
