Title in English: Traditional Clothing Culture: Contributions to the iconography, typology and methodology
The main theme of this publication is traditional clothing in Moravia and particularly in the region Wallachia. It assesses written and pictorial sources of the study of folk costume in Moravia from the late 18th century onwards. The article outlines the development of traditional clothing and typology of its parts, as well as the inner differentiation of the types of folk costumes rooted in the social status of their wearers and their use on different occasions such as work, family and annual celebrations and festivals.
