Title in English: Human Rights in the European Union

The aims of this book are to explain, mainly on the systemic level (EC/EU), how the relationship of a supranational entity toward human rights works; and to clarify the process which meant that an originally economic Community began to deal with human rights. The text also outlines how relationships between the systemic and sub-systemic (countries) levels may work in terms of the protection of human rights and it suggests steps to improve the current state.
