Musica viva in schola XXIV.

The present proceedings is the output of the 27th International Music Education Conference called Musica viva in schola with the key topic “Music Education – Terra Cognita II”, which was organized by the Department of Music, Faculty of Education of Masaryk University on 21–22 October 2014 in Brno. The conference followed the grant tasks solved by the Department of Music of Masaryk University. The contributions are focused on current issues in music education (especially of music-sociological nature) and research findings on music preferences.
