Title in English: Religion and body
The proceedings of contributions from an eponymous conference is divided into six thematic sections. The introductory study provides an overview of the theoretical perspectives of the relationship between religion and body in the discourse of religious studies, while defining the methodological framework for the sub-themes. The contributions are then divided into thematic sections – sexuality; conception of dead, living and other unusual bodies in Christianity; medical regulation of body and corporality; paths to physical perfection; gender perspectives; and body technology and metaphors.
