Title in English: A Brief Introduction to Legal History

The primary aim of this textbook is to provide information on the basic trends in the development of law and justice in Europe and some overseas countries, and thus enable students to gain an insight into the Czech legal order today. 
This textbook has been designed primarily for the European Legal Studies course, and outlines the characteristics of the ancient state and law, the Romanization of the law, and it examines the constitutional development of states and their laws as well as the development of law and justice in Europe in the 20th century.
