The publication is the outcome of specific research of Masaryk University and the author deals with the issue of a company in terms of the new Civil Code. Outline the nature of the firm, its principles, rights to the Company and disposition with the company, interchangeability and deceptiveness of a company, issues associated with the use of the acquired companies from the legal predecessor, the succession Volkswagen Group companies and business contexts individuals. In conclusion, the author summarizes the changes modifications in the new Civil Code against Commercial Code.
