Ethnologist Lucie Uhlíková focuses on the problem of cultural stereotypes associated with Jews and Judaism in the song folklore of the Czech lands. She focuses on the analysis of the image of the Jewish minority, which has been shaped in the traditional environment and further reproduced through folk song, but also other folklore types. The book can be considered a contribution to the understanding of ethnic stereotypes and the principles of their formation, functioning and reception in the field of so-called folk culture.
