Off-premises Contracts and Consumer Protection in Law and Praxis

This workshop was focused on certain issues concerning consumer contracts concluded out of business premises. The new Czech civil code is based on an idea of separated performance of civil and public rights. However, the workshop offered a comprehensive view on these issues, i. e. the workshop covered civil and public aspects of consumer protection. The contributions was aimed on comparison of consumer protection concerning conclusion of contracts concluded out of business premises in several selected member states of the European Union and then on the actuality in the Czech legal environment.
