This monograph was written to accompany the exhibition of the same name, which aimed to present the thousand-year history of relations between Moravia and the Holy See from the 9th to the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries through documents stored in Moravian archives and libraries. The book is divided into two parts, the first of which contains scholarly studies chronologically and structurally mapping various aspects of the mutual relations between Moravia and the papacy, while the second provides catalogue entries devoted to individual exhibits.
