Title in English: Direct and Indirect Funding of Non-profit Organisations from the Czech State Budget, 2008–2013
The aim of this publication is to provide a comprehensive view on the financing of NGOs from public budgets in the years 2008 to 2013. The author primarily examines the reasons for and forms (methods of allocation) of financing of these organizations from public budgets. The publication answers following questions: in what areas, how and what level of government has allocated funding for NGOs from public sources, how much of the revenue of those organizations consists in incomes from public budgets and how much of the public budgets of the Czech Republic goes to NGOs. The publication then defines the size and importance of public budgets in the revenues of NGOs and the size of the NGOs as recipients of public funds, along with the role of these organizations for public administration.
