Title in English: Socio-legal Aspects of the Protection of a Consumer and His/Hers Health
This publication deals with consumer protection with special regard for consumer health. It focuses not only on the issue of consumer protection in general, but also on an analysis of concrete concepts and institutes serving specifically to protect consumer health. The effort of the authors was to elaborate the given material in such a way that the reader could develop a clearer understanding of the possibilities of protecting consumer rights by legal means in terms of individual legal branches, as well as a detailed understanding of entirely specific legal instruments applied for such protection. Special emphasis has been applied selectively also to health protection of especially vulnerable consumers, because in the case of this group, the requirement for effective legal health protection is especially vital.
