The publication Sport and the Czech Union of Physical Education since 1989 describes transformation changes of physical culture and sports in the Czech Republic. The transformations and development of physical culture and sports is analysed with an interval needed, following real historic context. Legal and organisational changes of the sport space and its financing are basical for activities of sport organisations and are the keen condition of transformational proceedings. Focusing on the Czech Union of Physical Education, which has included an absolute majority of sport subjects, allowed tematically concised analysis of particular data supported by all relevant social events.
