The present compendium attempts to fill in a gap that is here regarding a simple but simultaneously at least partly academic, that is, problem-oriented handbook on the medieval (old) literature of Eastern Slavs, which would reflect contemporary study programs and subjects and their interconnection, continuity or discontinuity.
