The book systematically links traditional karate with contemporary sport science. Drawing on current evidence, it describes the structure and planning of training, conditioning, nutrition, performance psychology, technique didactics and principles of long-term athlete development. Special attention is paid to the use of sport diagnostics and to the specific features of para karate.
