The book traces the essential developmental steps in artistic life and art pedagogy over several decades and explores the values with which the theorist Igor Zhoř has completely enriched artistic practice. Together with the director of the Brno House of Arts, he founded the association Young Friends of Fine Arts in 1960, contributed to the establishment of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Brno University of Technology, was at the birth of the Young Gallery, was the founder of the Jaroslav Král Gallery, founded art groups and wrote excellent books to make current art accessible to young people and adults. As an important personality of Czech art pedagogy, in 2005 he was awarded the European Committee of InSEA in memoriam.
