The Tomasek Days of Young Microbiologists is an annual conference organised by the Department of Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University in Brno, and St. Anne's University Hospital in Brno, in cooperation with the Czechoslovak Society for Microbiology. The Czech Medical Association J. E. Purkyně and the Society for Medical Microbiology CLS belong to other official conference organisers.
