The aim of this publication is to help students to become familiar with specific issues concerning the research of the individual epochs of history, particularly in terms of sources, methods and specific questions. The history of historiography is presented in a concise form. The final part of the textbook focuses on conceptions of students’ own research, particularly with regard to the bachelor thesis.
