Venkov a krajina

The monograph deals with the problems of landscape from the point of view of its structure (wilderness, the landscape close to nature, agrcicultural landscape, the landscape damaged by human activity) and its development. The relation between countryside and urban landscape is discussed from the point of view of economic and social development and migration betwween the city and country as factor influencing the changes of landscape. The historical development of landscape is illustrated with the example of ancient Graeco-Roman civilization.
