The textbook concentrates on fundamental questions of onomastic theory and terminology, classification of onomastics, presents anthroponomastics and individual types of anthroponyms. Anthroponyms are examined as part of idioms and in their relation to literary communication and to the calendar. The textbook also includes the development of Czech anthroponyms and anthroponomastics.
