Title in English: Kinesio Taping® Method Effect on muscle activity
This publication is intended for students of physiotherapy, physical education disciplines and experts, who in their practice uses Kinesio Taping® Method. Part of the book summarizes the findings of foreign studies dealing with the effects of this method on the musculoskeletal system. Another part highlights the importance of a professional examination by a physiotherapist or a specialist prior to each Kinesio Taping application and status of this method in a comprehensive approach to the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. The last part of the book deals with the study of Kinesio Taping® Method carried out at the Faculty of Sports Studies at Masaryk University in Brno. Its main objective was to evaluate the effect of muscle technique on range of motion and neuromuscular excitability biceps brachii muscle during its eccentric contraction.
