The first volume of the memoirs of the prominent Brno and Prague economist Václav Chytil supplements the previously published second volume. It contains memories of his childhood in Lukov and Slavičín, his studies at the grammar school in Uherský Brod, and also describes the later, often complicated, fates of his classmates in later years.
