The book is introduced by a chapter dealing with psychological aspects of burden. Specifically, we address the problem of burden linked to development in childhood and adolescence. The second chapter is focused on interparental conflicts in adolescence. Results from empirical studies on interparental conflict perception and the connection to fears experienced by adolescents have been summarized. The third chapter discusses the importance of feeling of integration into the society of young people. The fourth chapter has focused on leisure-time activities and their role in the process of coping with negative life events. We have described various mechanisms of leisure-time activities that affect coping with difficult situations.
