Zobrazovací metody využívající neionizující záření
The text is focused on imaging methods using ultrasound (ultrasonography, Doppler imaging), laser, electromagnetic radiation in infrared spectrum (thermography), electromagnetic radiation in visible spectrum (eg. endoscopy, dermatoscopy) and in spectrum of radio waves (magnetic resonance tomography), electrical properties of tissues (electrical impedance tomography) and elastic properties of tissues (elastography). Text is focused on understanding the principles and functions of imaging methods, to assessment the risk and benefits of each method for the patient and operating personnel and on specific application of these methods in medical practice. Part of the issue is also devoted to the principles of image evaluation, assessment of image quality and image artifacts.
